About the Artist
Jay Golden, PGA
Beneath brilliant skies that radiate symphonies of line and color, intense golf landscapes explode with indomitable emotion. The intent of this vision is the realism as seen through the eyes of golfers as they prepare to hit with the knowledge of the 'uncertainty' of their shot.
Jay Golden's painting technique, reminiscent of the energetic work of the Master, Vincent van Gogh, is not by coincidence. Golden has learned this marvelous language by studying van Gogh and uses it as van Gogh stated, "I don't paint what things look like. I paint what it feels like."
